All day I've been thinking. Some thoughts were meaningful others ridiculous! Nevertheless my thoughts were rattling through like a rushing river. I keep thinking about truths vs. lies. So often we believe lies. We focus on untruthful comments, slogans, pictures, postings and the list could go on. I also thought about the everyday issues we deal with. I mean realistically we all have to accomplish certain task to reach certain goals. Whether large or small, fun or mundane there are somethings we just have to do.
So why do we allow things to shake us. Why? If we are secure in who we are. If we are certain that we have the truth why are we still shaken?
I guess this all points back to the answer! It's within our very nature to search. We must be careful to remember that we have purpose and meaning. A friend blessed me with an amazing devotional. Today's devo reads this profound line; "It is far easier to die than to lay down the life day in and day out with the sense of the high calling. We are not made for brilliant moments, but we have to walk in the light of them in ordinary ways."
If IT doesn't make sense make sure you are listening to the truth that is ever present. Watch for the lies that contain no substance. If life is bursting with boring moments....check yourself. Maybe those moments contain valid truth that will produce sweet fruits of patience and endurance.
