All semester Sarah and I have had our hearts on a sweet get away trip! Actually Sarah and I are always planning something. We're teachers! So late Saturday night we started re-discussing our New Orleans trip. We thought we could find a thriftier alternative. So I acted as the travel agent and by Sunday morning we had us 2 tickets to Chicago and a few nights booked at a hotel. Some called us crazy....wouldn't be the first time! We lived! The trip was...simple.beautiful. eloquent. pure hearted. cold. an adventure. uplifting. encouraging.and more!
Jesus was glorified in this trip. Our souls were refreshed. I just know he was. We returned to our respective homes ready to empower our students. Teaching is not for the faint at heart! Enjoy our time in the windy city!
